I forgot to give my opinion on Betty Boop Now. So earlier this year Betty Boop was given a brand new design. With that new design they got rid of her original head. So instead of her iconic plump cheeks that make her head look like a huge butt, Betty now has a normal sized head. The new design was featured in a merchandising campaign and has been seen every now and again.
Here are some of the original designs that were considered. As you can there there is one that looks Chinese. Betty is not Asian, she is Jewish. Jews are known for their big noses. Something Betty used to have, which they seem to have made smaller. Yes! King Features gave Betty Boop a nose job! Her nose for the previous design is smaller than how it is in the original.
King Features literally had a designer cut off half of Betty Boop's button nose for all those official artworks where she has the big head. You know those ugly King Features Betty Boop artworks that makes her look like her head has been copied and pasted.
That's why when Betty Boop Now made its debut. I was like that is a good idea.
